Documents to upload

Make sure to scan documents with sufficient resolution. Check which documents are requested for your mobility type in the list below.
All supporting documents must be in English.

Definitions:

Passport: Copy of your passport. If you do not have a valid passport, please submit a copy of a birth certificate or other ID.

Proof of registration: Official, stamped and signed document proving your current registration at your home university. Mandatory if you are registered at a university.

Course record: The official, stamped and signed document showing the courses and results (grades) of your previous studies.

Resume/CV: Your current resume/curriculum vitae (education, work experience etc.).

Target group 3 proof: Supporting document motivating your target group 3 status. Examples: Health certificate proving disability, certificate from you local municipality stating your economical status, official document showing that you belong to a minority group or have refugee status.

Official transcript of diploma or degree: Certified proof of graduation from university (diploma). If no diploma has been issued, please submit a certified document showing your eligibility for the activity applied for.

Official language test: Whenever a university requires it, you need to submit an official language test (TOEFL, IELTS or similar). Please check the requirements of the host university. Note that some universities have very strict policies concerning this.

Description of research interests: Document showing 1) general description of research interests, 2) intentions for the mobility period and how it fits into your career plan, 3) which department(s)/research group(s) you are interested in at the host university.

Plan of work: Document showing 1) preliminary work plan and intentions for the mobility period, 2) name of the department(s)/research group(s) you intend to visit, and the name of a contact person there, 3) preliminary time for visit.

Reference person:  A person that can be contacted if there is a need to check up certain information regarding your education or work. Note: A reference person will not be contacted in order to send in a recommendation letter.

Mobility 1: Undergraduates

Mandatory:
1. Passport or other Id
2. Proof of registration at your home university
3. Course record
4. CV
5. Target group 3 only: proof of target group 3 status
6. Official language test (if required by host university)

Optional:
7. Official transcripts of earlier diplomas or degrees

8. Recommendation letter


Mobility 2: Master's students

Mandatory:
1. Passport or other Id
2. Proof of registration (this is optional for TG2 and TG3, if not registered)
3. Official transcripts of diploma or degree
4. Course record
5. CV
6. Target group 3 only: proof of target group 3 status
7. Official Language Test (if required by host university)

Optional:
8. Recommendation letter

Mobility 3: PhD students

Mandatory:
1. Passport or other Id
2. Proof of registration
3. Official transcripts of diploma or degree
4. Description of research interests
5. Course record
6. CV 
7. Official language test (if required by host university)
8. Recommendation letter for PhD exchange (not full degree)
9.Those who hand in an "open application" (subjet code 16.9) need to submit a document from the university applied for, supporting the application. The name of the contact person and contact information must also be available.

Optional:
10. Intention of cooperation letter from head of department or equivalent.
11. Recommendation letter for PhD full degree


Mobility 4: Post-docs

Mandatory:
1. Passport or other Id
2. Proof of registration
3. Official transcripts of diploma or degree
4. Description of research interests and aims with the mobility
5. Course record
6. CV
7. Official language test (if required by host university)
8. Those who hand in an "open application" (subjet code 16.9) need to submit a document from the university applied for, supporting the application. The name of the contact person and contact information must also be available.

Optional:
8. Intention of cooperation letter from head of department or equivalent.
9. Recommendation letter
 

Mobility 5: Academic and administrative Staff

Mandatory:
1. Passport or other Id
2. Proof of affiliation to your home institution
3. CV
4. Work plan for the mobility, including the name of a contact person at the host institution
5. Those who hand in an "open application" (subjet code 16.9) need to submit a document from the university applied for, supporting the application. The name of the contact person and contact information must also be available.

Optional:
6. Official transcripts of diploma or degree of previous education
7. Course record of previous education
8. Intention of cooperation letter from head of department or equivalent.
9. Recommendation letter
